How we work
One engagement, five steps. The last one is the one most firms skip.
- 01
Get clear on the problem (we call this untangle)
We work out with you what the objective really is, look at what you have today (systems, data, reports, how things get done), talk through the likely ways to fix it, and narrow it to the priorities. Then we take your real data, usually 24 months of it, and talk to the people who make the calls now. Out of that comes a clear picture of where money is made and lost, the one or two decisions that matter, and a straight recommendation. This ends at a checkpoint where you decide whether to go on, and the rest is priced on the outcome.
- 02
Decide (we call this simplify)
You make the call, with us at the table and the numbers in front of you. Then we strip the change down to what your people can actually run: a pricing structure, a cost model, a set of controls.
- 03
Build (we call this capture)
We put the change into the systems you already own. No new platform unless the decision needs one.
- 04
Make it visible (we call this instrument)
A report that shows each month whether the business is still doing what it decided, with a named owner for each number.
- 05
Keep it working
This is where most improvement work dies: the report exists, nobody reviews it, and in a year things are back the way they were. So we set up the monthly review, and most clients keep us in it to keep the decision current and make sure the numbers get acted on.
If you'd rather begin with step one only, it runs on its own as a fixed-scope Commercial Diagnostic: three to four weeks from your data, the same findings and the same checkpoint. If you carry on, you don't start again.
Start with a conversation.
Thirty minutes is enough to work out whether you're looking at the right problem, and whether we're the right people to help with it. If we are, we'll say what it would take. If we're not, we'll say that too.
